Since March 1943 this officer has flown on a large number of operational sorties. An efficient bomb aimer, he has shown exceptional ability in locating his targets, securing some excellent photographs.

By his courage and gallantry in action Flying Officer Bevan has played no small part in the successes attained by his crew.
