Flight SergeantBruce has now completed 44 operational sorties, 30 of which have been with the Pathfinder Force. The majority of the sorties have been on heavily defended German targets.
This N.C.O. flys with a crew who on many occasions have carried out Master Bomber duties. He is a dependable and determined engineer and has shown considerable initiave and resourcefulness in carrying out his duties.
His operational zest, loyalty and devotion to duty have been of a high order and I recommend him for the award of the Distinguished Flying Medal.
