JA674  Lancaster III  F/Lt SULLIVAN  19:32  22.55  18500  02:01    In nil cloud and good visibility target was identified by special equipmentand bombed at 2255 hrs from 18,500 ft. The bombing run was interfered with by a night fighte4r attack, but our own TI's were seen to fall among the others already down, which were reasonabley well concentrated. Fires were starting up well as we left and at least ???? explosions were seen in the target area. Moderate to intense heavy flak experienced over the target with about 189 S/L's weaving about. All flares were brought back.  214
