JB216  Lancaster III  F/Lt AUBERT  16:28          T/o 1628 Warboys. Lost without trace. All are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial. F/L Aubert RAAF and F/L Poulton RAAF gained their DFMs while serving with 12 Squadron, details being published in the London Gazette on 20 April and 9 July respectively, F/L Samuel RAAF a graduate from Melbourne University , had been a radio announcer with Station 3AR, while P/O Smith RAAF held a Diploma in Agriculture. As the myriad of decorations suggest , this was an experienced bomber crew and their skipper, F/L Aubert RAAF had recently arrived from 1662 Conversion Unit.  266
