The Roll currently contains the details of 1177 servicemen and
covers the period from 1939 to 1945.
At this point (20/2/2011) I think the Roll is substantially
complete.
Every entry has been verified against several sources, but
inevitably there will be errors and omissions and I would hope that
you would advise me if this is the case.
I have not presented the Roll in an alphabetical list as perhaps
is usual, but instead shown the casualties in chronological order by
date. This I believe gives a better insight into the appalling
casualty rates at certain periods during the conflict.
There are some of the opinion that those killed in training
accidents and the like should not be included in the Roll,
this is not my view, so these individuals are included.
